From the land of Goshen to the Red Sea ocean
Moses cried “Let my people go!”
Pharaoh sneered, stroked his beard and said
“Uh uh, I don’t think so”
So Moses raised his mighty staff and he
touched it to the ground, and said “We’ve
had it with you, Pharaoh.
We’re leavin’ this town.”
“For the power of the staff is the power of the Lord is the power of the people like me.”
Said Pharaoh

“Put that thing down, put that damn thing down
You’d best comply, you could poke out an eye just wavin’ that thing around.
You made us all sick with your magic stick, no peace have I found
You can wander through the desert for all I care, just put that thing down.”

Black Moses said to the President
“Set my people free!”
The President frowned, wolfed his Big Mac down, said
“Don’t mean shit to me.”
“I don’t care ‘bout your Constitution,
 get it outta my face.”
“And leave us alone, just me and my phone
Oughta be here someplace.”
As the President convened with his Twitter machine,
Black Moses intervened.
Said Moses

“Put that thing down, put that damn thing down”
“America, America, don’t suffer your fools and clowns”
“If you can’t be nice on your portable device ya oughta toss it in the
lost and found
You can wallow in the slammer for all I care  just put that thing down.”
….”Put that damn thing down.
Two Moses appeared in my dreams last night
